Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is set to meet with Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan Tuesday in Ankara as top US and Russian diplomats hold talks in Riyadh. “Turkey has long played an intermediatory role” between Russia and Ukraine, FRANCE 24’s Jasper Mortimer said, citing Ankara’s support for Kyiv in the war as well as its economic ties to Moscow.
