Israeli forces withdrew from border villages in southern Lebanon on Tuesday, under a deadline spelled out in a US-brokered ceasefire agreement that ended the latest Israel-Hezbollah war. “People are expected to go back to their villages within the next few hours, some of the villages are already being cleared and checked by the Lebanese army for any potential leftover missiles, booby-trapped houses...”, FRANCE 24's Rawad Taha said, reporting from Beirut.
