After a chaotic first week, the Palestinian Authority said on Monday that things were improving at the Rafah border crossing between Gaza and Egypt, with the highest number of Palestinians crossing since the reopening. Among the returnees in the past week are some who had been brought to Egypt for surgery after being wounded during the war.
