Copy The war in Ukraine once again took center stage at the latest EU summit in Brussels on Thursday, as leaders of the bloc called for increased support to Kyiv — particularly through air defense systems, anti-drone technology, and large-caliber ammunition. While many member states pushed for an 18th round of sanctions against Russia, internal divisions resurfaced, with Hungary and Slovakia blocking both the proposed economic measures and a separate plan to gradually phase out Russian energy imports.
