President Volodymyr Zelensky on Thursday urged European allies to provide Ukraine with long-range weapons after failing to secure a commitment from U.S. President Donald Trump to supply Tomahawk missiles. Speaking to EU leaders in Brussels, Zelensky also pressed them to swiftly approve a plan to use frozen Russian assets, saying a substantial portion of the funds would go toward purchasing European-made weapons.
