The safety and security of US electoral information systems is a major concern in this year's US presidential election, given the fact that foreign states like Russia and China could meddle in the election, as was the case in 2016. According to the head of the American Cybersecurity Agency, Jen Easterly, there is "no risk" that malicious actors could have an impact on the vote.
