FRANCE 24's Clovis Casali, reporting on a silent march in Paris on Sunday, said the event has been described as “a bridge between people and cultures”. It is a call for unity and peace, he said, with over 500 artists, including filmmaker Jacques Audiard and actresses Isabelle Adjani and Marion Cotillard spontaneously joining the new movement called “Another Voice”. The collective is presided by the actress Loubna Azabal, who said she was "deeply saddened to see tensions on the streets" around the world and in France following Hamas's attack on Israel and the ensuing war.
