French President Emmanuel Macron on Wednesday announced another €2 billion in aid commitments to Ukraine as European leaders were set to gather in Paris to discuss security guarantees for Ukraine under a potential ceasefire with Russia. Zelensky, who landed in Paris on Wednesday, said in an interview with French media that he hopes the US will back Ukrainian interests, but the 30 European nations set to attend the summit are looking to each other to outline a path to lasting peace in Ukraine.
